The Pub

Landlords Cindy and Steve and their staff at the Gin Trap Inn, offer a warm welcome to the pub, which has been awarded AA Pub of the Year for England 2006-07.

The Gin Trap is a 17th century coaching inn.  It is so-called because, from the 1970s until just a few years ago, the pub was packed with old gin traps once used for capturing game.  Today, ‘gin’ in the pub’s name simply refers to one of the many drinks available.
