The Area

Ringstead is an attractive, unspoilt village on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. There are many local places of interest to see during your visit.

Take in the crisp sea air along the golden beaches and lush green fields further inland. The Gin Trap Inn is situated on Peddars Way - a popular walk, which follows a Roman road to Hunstanton. The pub is also close to several nature reserves, which are ideal for birdwatchers.

Explore Ringstead and its interesting buildings and shops, which sell everything from plants to period furniture. Next door to the Gin Trap is Ringstead Gallery, which has a vast selection of art and regular exhibitions from well-known artists.

The Gin Trap is ideally situated for golfers with courses in nearby Old Hunstanton and Brancaster. Royal country retreat, Sandringham House, is also only six miles away.
